Thunder Child's SDF-1 1:2000 Scale

After much tinkering (with permission of course) here is the repainted and rescaled SDF-1 designed by ThiderChild.

very cool, very. how big is it?

on my build list too. i was wondering if there was a version without dashed lines (scoring guides) or lines with fainter color uploaded anywhere .. kinda worried those will ruin the look of the finished model.

Complete in the cruiser mode is 64.5 cm long. I have changed the scroe lines to 0.2 of a pixel so when you score it they cannot be seen unless you really look for them. Tab lines have been changed to dark blue to stop fade of black ink into the model for the lighter parts. I am trying to make the file smaller as at this scale its 48 pages )25mb) which is too big to load here.

do you think this is buildable at about 50% scale? anything bigger than 30cm is going to be tough to find shelf-space in my apt ))

Yes, hihik it is buildable at 50%! The original design from Thunder Child is at scale 1:4000 and that size is in the download section. I am busy finalising the repaint at the original scale and will be uploading it shortly.

Was thinkning about an SDF 1 at the same scale as Rawen's Enterprise but once I saw this scale comparison at 1:400 i decided against it!
