Phase II McQuarrie Enterprise Study Model Link

Hello everyone! I stumbled across this website today. It has 6 views of one of the study models based on Ralph McQuarrie's painting for Star Trek Phase II/Star Trek - The Motion Picture.

It's rare to find any views of these models. So I thought I would put the link up for anyone else who was thinking of building this ship. These pics don't seem to be downloadable & I can't seem to insert them into this thread but have a look when you get a chance.

Saw those years ago. Did you know that the model and the molds were shown on Sci-fi on the show "Hollywood Treasure?"

Didn't know that or even that they were molded. I thought they were prototypes. I did see a special on the auction on History Channel, (?). It seems it was kept suspiciously low-key on publicity to prevent fans from coming in and photographing everything before it was sold off and shipped away to all parts of the world.

If anyone wants to take a shot at converting them into paper, I'd made a of model of the Phase II studies in Sketchup. They're available here:

Tried that and I couldn't get it to work. I assumed it was disabled. Are you getting pics with the watermark on them or without. I've just been doing Shift + Command + 3 on Mac OS 10.4.11, (on most PC's it's just Shift + Screen Print I think).

I see. I don't have a Mac so I can't comment on this. On Windows you right-click and then "save target as ..."

The big versions of the pics are water-marked. Try to download the auction pdf catalogues; they feature awesome pics.
