Maybe if you used 2mm card for the legs and the skeleton.

I was thinking of the way I would make the legs go up and down for a in flight and landed position for supporting the ship. that would be attaching the back side to a bent sheet of metal, L... and then bending it again to build the floor deck onto. ---L..
kind of like that, then the stand, rear wall, and deck is all one piece. and build the ship around it, and just have waxed string to pull all the legs up at once. a central spool like post can run the strings back at the same time when pulled, like a gully.

this always has bugged me. I stretched some of the pic and made it work for the sets, including the fusion core deck-4 [bubble and top-1.....viewport sides-2......quarters and galley-3]

I shortened the hatch and raised the bottom of the viewport.
also increased the radius of the ship by 5%. this mod would make all the inside sets plausible and also keep the ship somewhat in the same size range as the set and models.

soon I will have enough tan and silver metallic paper to build the large jup2 posted here on the start of this thread. cant wait, but need to prepare, and finish up some other models.
yes, there will be lighting effects. maybe legs going up and down for landed, takeoff and landing, and flight modes.

altered the models so the storage tanks were bigger. its in moderation que now.
