I am using a HP photosmart plus ink jet printer. But the thickness of this semi matte photo paper (300 g!) caused some other problems: sometimes some stripes can be seen on the printouts...
The struts on the landing legs needed more dimension, in this large scale so I bought some half rods and glued them on the paper parts. After multiplying the parts by four, some of them just had to be divided. On the fourth pic you can see the second parting line on the big round rear part (the first parting line is of course on the bottom). |

Ok, here is the finished UFO Interceptor. Beside sits its little brother, the Product Enterprise UFO Interceptor which is about 1/48.
To match the big 1/12 scale of my paper UFO Interceptor the Major Matt Mason figures are just right. Here you can see Jeff Long posing beside "his" new ride. The other picture shows the different Interceptors of my collection and their respective scale. |
