Thank you all for your positive reaction. But one more time - such a great model is only possible if we have such great paper model constructors like UHU02 is and nuts like me who are willed to pull such a project through. So once more, thanks you very much for your extraordinary work, UHU02!
Btw, of course this not only happened in the few days I posted the progress, but during several weeks, where the interceptor - and my nerves ;-) needed some time to rest.
One of my tricks is to only build, when I am fully motivated. And I certainly was very motivated to finish this model.
I really hope that UHU02 is making more models from UFO, like for instance the SHADO mobile trucks and some mobiles. The truck of course, because there is no model of it. (except from somebody who built a Lego version).

I started a model of Harlington Straker - the SHADO Headquarters. But that is far from being completed and I have not decided if it will be made out of paper or plaplates... we shall see.

Thanks again, House.

That is simply a work of art, I have every plastic kit including the old Dinky Interceptor and have to say that is simply fantastic. Even Straker couldn't find fault in that

House! You might try finding back issues of Sci-Fi & Fantasy Modeler magazine. I kind of remember seeing someone do a scratchbuild of the shadow-mobile. Never mind. Just looked on Ebay. Several versions over there.

Nice work on the Interceptor!!

Did Gary P not do a model of the SHADO mobile?
I think he did.

I did Straker's car...but its pretty simple and quite small.

Thank you. The SHADO Mobile is not that bad, really, but I think that UHU02's work is just more detailed. So I hope he will make one, one day :-).

The Straker car is very nice too for it's size. Even small it could fit my Harlington Straker Studios which are still unfinished...
