Verne Lunar Projectile

I think after two years it's been long enough for me to make another pass at the spacecraft from Jules Verne's "From the Earth to the Moon".
I've scanned through the novel and its sequel for descriptions of the craft, and hopefully the better software I'm using (inkscape vs. publisher) will help with designing this model.
So far I have the nose and aft end of the ship drawn up and hopefully I'll finish the model by the end of the weekend.

This would make an interesting companion model to the Apollo series that has everyone in this PM group a abuzz.

This basically all 3 units, CM, LM and CSM all rolled up into one unit as I recall.

Keep at it, it will be interesting to see what you come up with.

Base and nosecone are done.

The printer I'm using is still temperamental with its work, so the colors on the base are a bit borked...

Fantastic! You can't go wrong with Verne and it's good to see you going at this one again. Thanks!
