Just about to finish the Raven.Maybe it is a god advice to mark the areas to be cut out of the legs for making space for the feet joints.
Besides that a great model as I like Battletech / Mechwarrior and played almost all games of the series.
Will post a finished foto when I'm done.
Its my first more complex build after many years of not doeing papermodels.

Congratulations on a nice, neat job. Looks good. Was it necessary to add internal weights for balance? I know from experience that some (not all), of the chicken-legged mechs have a tendency to fall over backwards without counter weights.

Hey Don. Thanks for the compliments. There is always potential to do better I think... Next time I will try edge coloring before I take the challenge and go for one of UHU02s models.

It was not necessary to add weight. I finished the complete, then build the legs from bottom up. Feet -> lower legs -> upper legs and tried to keep the CG of the mech over the two feet so that the feet stand alone.

Adding the body was no problem at all then. I will try the MWO Raven next as I love the Raven as some iconic mech and like the comparison between MW4 and MWO since I am a Battletech addict

At the moment I am building a modular 3D Hex-Terrain for the tabletop games. First Hexes are ready to go. Now starts mass production

I've built around 20 'mechs, and have a folder with close to 100 (not counting all the skins). One kit I don't have is the MWO Raven, so I'll try to track that one down. I built the MC2 Raven a while back MC2 Raven Battlemech Despite their simple skins, I like the MC2 kits because of the low parts counts - I find it difficult to finish models with many pieces because something else always seems to catch my eye before I finish it. Your modular terrain project sounds interesting.

You don't need to track it down... here is the original Thread from the MWO Forums.
