40K Night Scythe / Doom Scythe

The first two pages have dried, and I completed building the core of the doom/night scythe.
Its three layers, with the center layer being an outline with scraps in the center.
I still need to clean up the edge a bit

For scale, the grid on my cutting mat is 1/2"

First two layers

All three layers

The last 5 sheets are drying right now, but probably wont be done for another couple of days

The laminated pages are still drying, so here is a small update from older stuff

The 3D model I built to use in Pepakura

One of the weapons, this one was built for another model, but this model uses the same ones

Will watch this one with interest. Looking good so far. That gun is something else.

The laminated pages are finally dry, so I can continue work on the main body.

Adding a spacer to get the right shape

The outer edge of the wings, dotted lines are placement guides for the plating

The inner edge

This will be repeated for the other side

I'm not a Necron fan but you got me interested. Is a scratch build?

Ive started adding the armor plating. The details on the center one are a real pain to cut, especially the circles. When I build another, I will hopefully get it laser cut. (does anyone know of a good laser cutting service?)
I did make a mistake in the placement of the plating on the left side, but it should be easy enough to hide.

I also built the engines

If we knew where you were located, that would help. Like, if you were here in Kansas City, I'd suggest Hammerspace.
