Nicely done, Marko, nicely done. What purpose does the ring serve? Hyperspace jump ring?

it´s like the warp engine of the Vulcan ships, they mostly have a ring engine like the D´kyr (Maymora) class:

Vulcan Maymora Class (D’Kyr)

Interesting design!

Has a resemblance to a later Centaur ship from DS9.

Thanks for the idea,

I have a picture on my HD somewhere of a refit Constitution class with a ring in place of the nacelles on display at a model show somewhere. Naturally, I can't find it to post right now.

Has anyone ever done Roddenberry's Ring ship?

I know you did one Vulcan ship, and I seem to recall a simpler red one.
