Thanks for this. I have just downloaded this kit and plan to make it asap! I wish I could find a better model of the eagle in the same scale. The ones with the kit look very square!

Thanks for your interest!

Sorry about the Eagles, that was the best I could do at the time at that scale. They're in the "Hako" style from a few years back. (Hako is "box" in Japanese).

Maybe a 3D Printed one at the right scale? Anyone?

I am now making some enquires to get some 3D printed ones in the right scale to go with this fantastic landing pad. I have been looking at these 1/100 scale ones;
Spacer1999 Transports 1/1000 Scale (3U4PP4STG) by Mechanoid

Do you know what scale this landing pad is please?

Thanks for the link. Some really cool stuff on there. I like the look of the eagle model but it is a bit too big for the landing pad. If I scale it down I think it would be too small for my fat fingers to make.

Will give it a go at full size though. Thanks again for the heads up!

I'm not certain. I'll have to do some research to find out what the original's dimensions are supposed to be.

An alternate method would be to measure a completed Hako Eagle, and scale from that.
