Star Wars Nesst class freighter w/ interior

I'm a Gamemaster for a Star Wars Roleplaying Game group, and our campaign is settled around a freighter that they pilot. It's a beat up old tramp freighter, but it's theirs and they love it so far. And I figured it would be fun to make a paper model of their ship in scale with their minis so they could roleplay in it and have a visual aid for adventures.

I started with a deckplan I found on the internet which is quite detailed and a great start for a model:

I started by modeling the ship in Metasequoia and ended up with a decent model of the exterior:

When it was complete I decided to start work on the interior, beginning with the lower deck. I used the Knife function to cut the ship into three segments: the lower, middle and upper sections. The upper section will lift off to reveal the upper deck, and this will lift up to reveal the lower deck.

I extruded all the rooms and put in every detail I could, except for some of the technology like the hydraulic pumps for the landing gear and cylinders for the boarding ramp and cargo lift. Those will come later when I start installing systems all over the ship. I also put in the upper deck's floor, and am now working on building the walls and such. Here's where I am so far:

Here's a shot of one of the landing pads with the framework surrounding it:

A very cool, and very ambitious project MF. I look forward to following your progress.

Building this model really makes me wish Boolean functions were a part of the freeware Metasequoia program. At least, they aren't a part of the version I have on my flash drive.

Export to Blender, use the boolean functions there and import back?

Nah, it's fine. Besides, I really don't like working in Blender.

Me neither, but for small specific tasks, it's fine.
