You are welcome! Maybe a view at the ramp of the Millennium Falcon could give you some ideas:

rear leg progress:
Iīve added a hydraulics to knee section ....

front section equipped with hydraulics / pipe thingee. Whole leg is simplified and functional (in certain borders )

after all that work Iīve optimalized the leg for closed position. There are extra holder for the knee, and smaller that ponton like thing on the sides for now.
and the whole dropship

and Iīve finally realized why there is a hole on the bottom of the tail.....for hiding the knee of the rear leg.

The rear leg shield:
and how to operate it together with the leg pillar.

final visualisation of the shield together with the leg... (2 hours of work)....uf

The rear leg so far....front section enlarged, pontons deformed.

and finally....my way of folded rear leg....it looks good for me

the hydraulics for the leg and how to put it into the space above the leg ...itīll be another level......

..little progress...so far..

two positions of the rear leg...the rest of the hydraulics will be magicianīs trick

besides..some minor details added. (It looks like hydraulic fluid inputs and some air vent?)

I ve drilled deeper the hole for the rear leg

..and done some "serious measurements" :D

piston holder created (that orange thing with holes)

Another 3 hours of serious measurements

The tail section is drilled trough...but as you can see from previous picture it will not be enough....

after another 3 hours iīve evolved a piston with "mother" like ring for the rear section of the pylon of the leg. I donīt wanted the telescopic piston and decided
to go this way. One of the reasons is that: folded leg has a compact shape. negative thing is: there is an extra space needed for piston above the mechanism ( see half way closed pose)

for the mid pose i had to create an extra hole in the upper engine section...( well ..the alien queen can hide in my creation for sure)

and..how is it look like....

the hardest thing is still waiting for me....the side hydraulics...(these pistons will be telescopic)....i must calculate the space for them....

FINALLY.......:D
hydraulic side pistons are finished......Iīve done them in closed pose of the leg because of the space around the rest of the folded things. The mother-ring thingee was enlarged and reformed...
and the tail section was added for knowing the border and operation space...

Folded leg look really nice & compact.......
And how the whole dropship looks like.........(My rear leg nightmare is over)

enjoy....

Wow. Wow. Wow.
Stunning design work. Can't wait for this. I want to build in 1/72 scale to go with my resin APC.
