It is pretty easy..sometimes, because Cameron is a detailist and pedant in one person....Sure ..there are some glitches, but we can discuss them and they can be easily explained....

The missing cover:
There was no cover for hydraulic valves in hull of the aircraft.

I think that basic idea was mounted the covers on the ramp itself...under the the hydraulics mounting point. There exist a drawing describing that situation.

I´ve tryed to think abou that....let´s see..
...the basic point of the front hydraulic valves...

I have a problem with it. The cover plates was not explained in the movie....the film models doesn´t have any and the covers (somehow folded) on the hull are not right solution for me. I´ll try to realize the basic idea of the cover plates on the ramp....

....It doesn´t look as I thought....front part is ..somehow..."heavy"....
..I´ve rounded the necessary parts on the hull to gain lighter effect.

...what you think....hmmmm....

doesn´t look so bad at all...

The amount of detail work is mind boggling, such research. It's good to know there appears to be a good amount of reference pictures to help.
