The Ghost from Star Wars: Rebels
Been thinking about starting this one. Of course, as with a good chunk of my projects, it may not come to fruition, but I still want to try. There is a wealth of information out there on its shape and size, and it's made of a bunch of slabs that would be easy to realize in paper.

I just Googled it, and it does look like it will make for a very interesting model indeed!
I look forward to seeing how it will turn out! GOOD LUCK with it!!!

Looking forward to seeing you work on this.
How's school coming Tyler? Are you finished?

The DVD release of the pilot episode includes a card model of the Ghost as an extra bonus. Granted, its fairly small and simple due to the fact it was made to fit inside a DVD case and for beginner level modellers, but it could work as a reference for designing a larger, more detailed version.

In any case, I'm going to draft a set of blueprints for this ship before I start it. There's a nice little orthographic of it out there that will be a nice starting point. |

Hang in there Tyler. Some of us weren't ready for the college experience when we graduated high school. I know I wasn't. Took two years, academic suspension and a career in the service to get me ready for college. The world isn't over. Nothing wrong with getting a job or going to tech school to learn a trade. Not everyone needs (or wants) a college education. Don't write it off just yet though. Give it some time and then ease back into it.
Sorry, didn't mean to preach a sermon. Probably stuff you've heard before anyway.

Nah dude, that's fine. I don't mind preachy people, because I usually can glean at least some grains of truth from whatever it is they're saying. I'm not giving up, though. The material wasn't the problem, it was my apparent inability to just sit down and do the homework and study for the tests. Next time, I'm going to take more time to do the work and make sure I absolutely know the material instead of just trusting that I know it.

I was in your shoes once myself. Wasn't motivated and classes were boring. Looking back after 30 years I'm in an okay place but I regret not going back and finishing up. Just my two cents from the other end of the tunnel

Heh, yeah I hear you. I have a degree already in Machine Tool Technology which has already gotten me noticed (got a job offer recently to operate CNC plasma cutters despite having no experience). The degree I'm currently pursuing is mechanical engineering, and I really want to get it so I can have my dream job.
