I see Uhu02 has posted his Endurance model. Mulling whether to build it, but I did print out the Landers. Am curious as to whether I can find magnets the proper size....

According to this diagram the ring is 210 feet in diameter.

So, I think that the scale of the Uhu's model is 1/200.
but I could be wrong, what about you?

I'm working on Uhu's model and it seems to be pretty good. 5 of the habitation/cargo pods done so far. It takes some redesigning here and there since I like to have glue tabs everywhere and it seems that the model reqires a few 6 mm flat magnets to dock landers and rangers to the main ring. Consider that in your calculations.

I just started on this too. I am building it as-is and I kinda appreciate how the lack of glue tabs allow for sharper looking edges when using thicker paper. I am using the Canon crafting paper(175gsm) which uhu02 uses for most of his builds.

Looks good. You guys should be gracing us with build threads. It is always cool when someone builds a Uhu02 creation here.

I enlarged his Lander 200 percent and plan to tackle it after the holidays. Enlarging it fuzzied some of the detail, but I think it'll make a passable model with some weathering. Don't know if I'll try the full Endurance, but I like the blunt, utilitarian look of the Lander. Plus, it looks like what an Eagle from "Space: 1999" would look like if it were real....

Progress update: Finished the cryo/command and lander pods. Building the 4 engines next.
