Battlestar Berzerk,

This build was for a paper group build on a styrene modeling forum. its also my first build here for this forum

I don't believe there is any intro need explaining what this ship is as I'm sure its been done here quite a bit.

Battlestar Galactica is one of my favorite shows and I hope I can do this justice.

Last night I started work on the Battlestar Berzerk.

Here are the parts. I printed them onto 110lb paper

I started construction with the engines

Posting pictures on this site is a lot different then what I'm use too. I hope you can follow what I;m doing and I don't screw things up too badly.

More work done on individual components

Here is the flight deck

This is the roof of the hanger deck. The yellow squares are the lights. This piece is the only part without any complex angles

This next piece is the UPPER spine. Its a thin delicate piece to fold but surprisingly strong once assembled

Next up are the sides of the main body of the ship where the majority of the guns are housed

It was real hard for me to envision how to fold this part before it was cut out. Once it was cut out it became apparent how it went.

Thanks for looking

Completed the gun pods that make up the mid section of the ship or so I thought. More to come later on this section.

Dirk Pitt....isn't that the Clive Cussler hero?

Nice looking BSG...I like the ripped textures.
Who's model is this?

re posting pictures...
you are posting "attachments" (not specifically images).

And attachments appear at the end of the post.

If you want inline images, you have to host those images somewhere else.
I store all my images at Photobucket for example.
Then, using "link codes" you can paste your images into your posts
and you also have the option of posting thumbnails or full size images.

I like to explain steps of a build and post photos next to each step
so posting as attachments doesn't always work for me.

Yeah, I host my photos on photobucket as well but it didn't like that. said something about not liking the attachments. The only attachments were the photobucket links.

oh well such is life.

Thanks for taking the time to comment on my work
