I need help on something

Hi everyone,
I am trying to make a set of Warhammer Space Marine Shoulders using foam sheets now there are two ways I've thought of doing this one being to cut triangles out fo the side of the foam and bending it to wher ethe triangles meet to make it like the shoulders or taking a few triangles and glueing them all together to make the shape I need. I don't know if I can do anything like this in paper or not but any futher ideas would be welcome.
