I think that you are doing an excellent job of picking up on potential problems. Rarely is there ever a build that doesn't have a couple problems.
If I might make a suggestion. Dry fitting. Before gluing, shape the parts and see how they fit. That really helps with the 'gluing order'. Otherwise, it is looking good.

That was exactly my idea. I dry fitted the parts and they matched very good.
My brain instead ignored the fact that I have to put some glue on on some locations The boxes are saved. I am cutting and prefolding some other stuff now. Maybe I will post a progress picture later on. Thank you fopr your interest. i hope the result will please your eyes

Can shoot now... master, where are my legs...
Well if I compare that Raven to other builds I have a looooong way of learning and perhaps a bit more patience

Patience ... everyone wants to have more patience without having situations that help develop it.
Looking good on the build

Wow, looks pretty good so far!
Working on a favorite mechwarrior mech sure does make the complicated builds a little more bearable... (That was how I got through the 36 page, 250 piece monster that was the MekTek Supernova! It's so pretty...) |

Thank you all for your nice comments... I really appreciate them as I am almost new (reentered with the Elite Spaceships and the MW4 Raven) to papercrafting.
As the Raven is definitely one of my favorite Mechs I thought (as a R/C modeller) if this baby can be built a bit bigger and out of balsa wood and stuff... Articulated if done so, not only torso twistable as I try to realize with some magnets on this paper model.
