Thank you, Neill.
Today I am working on the wings and struts just to complete the underside of the Interceptor. Wings are mounted and strut parts are cut out and edge colored.
The "reinforcements" on the wings in the strut area are mounted too.

Going on
Finished the landing Gear and removed the canopy. I hope I can form the new canopy that it is held by the tiny magnets (visible on the last pic)
Now for the final stretch... Finishing the new Canopy and building up the missing things on top

Question

I was always fascinated why this fighter needed any aerodynamics to be considered. It travels in space ?

The shape could have been a box and still do its function.

Great progress on yiur model

Isaac

Let's not let physics get in the way of a good story...or a good spaceship that doesn't even have an entry port for its pilot...

Fotofinish

After completing the tail section and the skids and redoing the canopy the bird is finalised.
Well for the first build of a model from Uhu02 I think this bird goes not so bad.
I learned many lessons and I am looking forward to my next build though I did not choose yet what I will start to do

Nice job Chris. It looks good. Did you form the canopy or did you find a piece of plastic that fit?

Hi Elliot, thank you.
I just did it like the way UHU did. He uses some thin plastic from overhead projector sheets and rolls it in form.
Instead of using the magnets I decided to use some "notches" glued to the windshield itself to hold it in position. So i can take it off and show the interior of this bird
