Cobra Mk III from Elite: Dangerous Video Game

Good morning folks,
I just wantedt to test a new glue and did a short fingerexercise. I just built the Cobra Mk III from the Elite: Dangerous Video game for sheer pleasure. As this model has not so many parts the build took just about 2,5 hours to complete. Here are some building pics and some shots with my Sidewinder I built last week (Version 2 with heat vents). The model(s) can be found here:

Enjoy the pics...

Hi Chris,
this is one seriously cool model. I take it you extrected the textures and geometry from the game or did you design the shape and surfaces all by yourself? In any case: Kudos!

Honestly that were not my designs. I just found the in the internet and got the permission from the designer to share them here.
I like those little "fingerexcercises" between other builds
Marburg is not that far away

Yes memories And the actual game revivies those memories and puts them literally into another dimension...
Try the sidewinder (2nd scaled version with Heat Sinks) too. They match perfectly.

You mean the kittifix glue? Yes I am. I am using this glue for almost everything except for doubling up large surfaces. I thin this glue with a drip of wather to achieve a consistency like condensed milk. It works great. The fixture times are short and it dries clear.
