found out that the author of the model I recolored is vinicio he finally got back to me and I am declaring him publically as the author of those files. it will take me a while to add his name to the sheets but I will post them as corrections. thank you.

it is very good that you are crediting the original author of a model

but did he give you permission to recolour and share?
- make sure you have that.

(sorry...I am not aware of the model in question
or any previous discussions on this topic)

yes he did, after waiting about a year I finally have his full permission.

I had contacted Vinicio a while back when I was designing a Jupiter 2 of my own (still in work). Great guy, and very talented! He graciously sent me the AutoCAD file for his model to work with with if I wanted (as he was unsure if he would finish it at the time). I had already started mine so it was interesting to see how he was working the design challenges (we're a but different in some areas- to be expected). I hadbuilt his early version to have something to envision how mine would be.

That looks like Vinicio's Jupiter 2. I built the upper deck portion a while back, I liked what he had designed.

Mine is still in the works, just been really bad about finishing it, here's a photo of the furthest I've gotten. Spaceagent-9 is working on one that I'm looking forward to building.

Ohhh, that looks awesome!!! 50 YEARS??? Gee, how time flys by...
