Lens Head Type-B

I've completed Shunichi Makino's Lens Head Type-B

Here are some build notes:
  • I started building it after printing it on 120gsm inkjet paper but I wasn't very satisfied with coloring the edges.
  • I imported the PDFs into Adobe illustrator and modified the template to be printed on colored paper instead of white inkjet paper.
  • Modification is done by first separating the parts into different color sheets and then removing the color from the sheets. I divided the model into 5 main colors: Silver, Metal Grey, Gold, Black and White.
  • Modifying the camouflage pattern was rather trivial as all I need to do is to delete all the light-grey parts of the camou and print the template on silver paper.
  • The eye lens are made using Laser/Hologram paper.
  • Hands are replaced by modified Gundam hands designed by June.
  • Finally, the model is scaled down from A4 to A5(66%) for this build.

Impressive build.
This one's long been on my 'to do' list.

Haven't seen a Lens Head build in a long time. You did a good job of it. Looks solid and aggressive too.

Very nice build! Clean lines, menacing look to it, the eye lens is a nice touch. Excellent work.
