Good day all.
Last weekend for me was very productive on the modeling front.
The chairs were installed into the cockpit. Added the tillers and the control levers to the console.

The canopy was then glued into place to the tunnel.

The finished Cockpit was then installed into the Canopy, and the back part of the tunnel added.

The window frames on the canopy were stiffened with CA to give them more support.

With the Cockpit finished, it was time to start on the Left Mandible of the fuselage. I really like the detail here but it does turn into a greebly fest. All the greebles have to be built and installed. Just for this section there are over a 100 greebles. Almost like a ship build.

There is a conduit that runs along the top edge, above the surface. It was stiffened with CA, but still wanted to bow in. I ended up installing a small block support in the middle. That is a long run for a conduit without support anyway.
These are the finished pics of the Left Mandible.

Now on to the other Mandible.

Thank you for following.
Questions and comments welcome.

You weren't kidding when you said this was a greeblefest. Hope you love greebles as much as I enjoy looking at them.

Thank you Elliott.

They give the model more of a sense of realism, than just the printed representation, but it is more work.

Hehehe, I love that "Made in Japan" tag - considering how many Bandai Falcons are being built at this very moment on therpf..!

Are these the graphics you have used for the interior:

Just a random luck of the draw the way that COPIC marker was placed.
With all those other builds going on right now is why I decided to interject with this paper one. So far with those other modelers this has been a hit, and are amazed at what we can do.

Those are nice graphics but not the ones used in this project.
