Macross MAC II Monster

Does anyone know who the designer of the MAC II Monster is? I've been fiddling with it to recolor it tan before I build it. I'm also considering making a vanilla version people can color however they want.

After opening the pages in Illustrator and Photoshop, it looks like the parts were cut and pasted from something else.

When I'm done with it, I'd like to share it, but I don't want to step on anyone's toes.

Maybe if you post a image, people can tell who made it.

This isn't mine, but it's the same model ( snagged the image somewhere off the 'net for reference). I have a strong hunch the copy I have was pirated somewhere along the line.

I finally gave up recoloring it in Photoshop and started retracing all the lines in Illustrator. When I did, I noticed a lot of things, like marks on the colored sections outside the lines that look like someone did some erasing with Photoshop somewhere along the line.

I've also had a reliable source tell me that it IS pirated. Apparently there is another version out there somewhere (as well as a Chibi version), but I have never found it.

This model was designed by Realnopposans and sold at Japanese Wander Festival many years ago.
You can see this model in his site.

Well, if it was sold, I simply cannot share the original. I have been told there is another version out there (might be the chibi version, but I'm not sure.) What do you have, Wulf?

There is a vector version here under the Robotech section in the downloads. Much cleaner version than the cut and paste job found elsewhere on the web. If you PM me your email address I can send you the master file i created in vector for recolour.

Legal01, thanks for the vector version. Your work is better than mine. I also finally decided to look at the size of the cut and paste version.

It's huge! the layout of the pieces was 32 inches wide. I have no idea how big it would be when it was built, but it's not small.
