Man I loved Buck Rogers back in the day, and can not wait to see the ship completed. The detail on the model looks great. There are just not enough models from the show as compared to Star Wars or even Battlestar Galactica.

So I was playing off of that.

There was no negativity in my message, not sure how you got that.

and I never said that I didn't like your build.
Ok, I understand that you meant your post as a joke, however jokes are funny only if person that you are telling the joke to understands the reference (which I did not understand).

I know that you did not (outright) say that you did not like my build, but with a post like that (which had absolutely no relevance to the build or the content and without anything else in the post) it would appear that you had a problem with the build or post. That is why I posted the response that I did.
I was just attempting to get clarification about your thoughts and the meaning of your post.

Thank you! I will be building BRTC25 (and BSG) models!
You are right. There are not enough BRTC25 models. Glen Larson (or his team) did not do enough in the way of merchandising. Now you can find both the Thunder Fighter (with all three canon versions and a fan based version) and the Hawk fighter at PaperAviation - Faszination Kartonmodellbau. Revell-fan is looking at the possibilities of making more models (for both BSG & BRTC25).

Update!

I have assembled the landing gear. I detailed springs and hinged parts for more of a realistic look.

I have attached the landing gear, the downward vertical stabilizers, and the inner canards.

I have added detail to the inner conards by raising the printed texture.

Next will be the outer canards, main wings, and engine exhausts.
