I wanted to build this model for my son for last Christmas and because I over extended myself by taking on to many models at once it didn't get build. One of our people on this forum suggested the visualspicer X-Wing. Web site-

It cost #7.99 and was well worth it. Right after I finish my wife's bird that's my next project. That and Dale E. No. 3 car for a fiend if my coach is still willing and able to still give me a hand. wc

I recommend great Imcold's X-wing.

I am just building it myself.

Oh yes, new X-wing is different. I still like the original X-wing better.
Paper model designer Berszu made three new X-wings from paper.

Wow, that is a most impressive model! And what a size too! Can you tell me, does it all go together with tabs? Oh, and does it have 'VISUAL SPICER' printed on it?! Thanks

It's completely different in every proportion, through the shapes are familiar. You'd have to start from scratch to build one.

I too vote for the one designed by IMCOLD, who is a member of this forum as well.

On this forum, a thread of the building process by saggitarius.
