ISD Stalwart, Victory I-Class Star Destroyer

Hi everyone!

A couple weeks ago my 4-yrs son told me "Hey daddy, why don't we make a Star Destroyer?"... could I have ever ignored such a request?

So I began surfing the web for a Star Destroyer 3-views and I came to this

Since I don't have a printer at home and wanted to start immediately, I litterally placed a sheet of paper in front of my computer screen, took some reference points and began drawing. Then, to my wife's great joy (), I took a cereal box and started cutting.

After three afternoons (1-2 building hours each), these are the results so far...

I haven't measured it, but it's something around the 1/5000 scale... I don't think I'm going to add a lot of details also because I'm building it with my son.

Hope you enjoy it!

Desperation is the mother of invention. I like it!

VSD Stalwart? Someone played TIE Fighter in the 90's.

Excellent start so far!

Cereal boxes and notebook paper, now that's old school, cool!
4 years old is a good time to train the brain to look for, what can be made out of which.

Cereal box and some ingenuity that's paper modelling at its best. Just think how much this would cost as a p****** kit, especially that it's Star Wars and now Disney property. Paper modelling showing the way once more. Your son's going to live this model.

You've inspired me to get on with my Star Destroyer.
Well done
