My very First Papercraft!

Considering that I just found out about paper crafting on friday night. I decided to try something pretty simple so I used a simple UFO. I had seen this as a polystyrene kit but never bought it.
Not bad for a first tho with these old eyes and hands..

Not a bad first build. I recall my first three builds all ended in fiascoes. This is a great hobby, much more challenging than plastics, but the reward is just as great. Enjoy!

Thank you. I enjoy Injection Molded Polystyrene Kits however with the majority of kits I want to build being resin I decided to find other alternatives... I am not a big fan of Resin especially the costs which are usually double or triple an IM kit. I have also just started the Metal Earth models as well.

If you are looking for fairly simple models that are easy to give away, take a look at the little one-page Canon animals. They give you a good feel for some of the nuances of this medium, but even if you mess something up, they look cute enough that they will bring a smile to someone's face.

Nice! If you are just starting out, here is a link to a pdf on model building and recoloring you may find useful.

http://dgapapermodels.com/Instructio...d%20Models.pdf

Basically, just need 65 pound cardstock, white glue, and a craft knife/scissors and you are ready to get started!
