Negh'Var

Just wanted to give this thread a home here. Shiftdel was working on one, but after looking at the Vor'cha and the Voodieh Negh'var, I noticed some interesting similarities! This could mean that Dwhale's wonderful Vor'cha model could be adapted (albeit heavily) into a Negh'var model.

I've attached an image that has color coded highlights of the similarities between the two.

The real-universe Negh'var looses the Voodieh's nose point, and gains two large weapon pods beneath the wings, and has much darker colors, but otherwise is the same.

I haven't decided whether I'm going to design the model (with DWhale's permission) or if I'm going to let someone else do it. I'm determined to finish my flying wings first, regardless.

Yeah. The language barrier is a little troublesome, since the translator doesn't always translate exactly what I'm saying to him, but we're making some progress. I linked him to this thread, so hopefully we can discuss it here and get some input from everyone else.

It's an idea, although there is a lot of work to do on the wings...

My Negh'Var needs a lot of work too, as some shapes are not correct...

The wings are a pretty simply shape, they just need the details drawn in. I don't think that would be too hard.

Well I wish you luck completing this design, ShiftDel. I've wanted a Neg'Var ever since I saw "All Good Things . . ." and I don't want to spend a truckload of money on the resin kit.

give me a little bit of time! I will see what i can do! I must convert the blueprints-JPG in to a format, what i can use with my 3D programm (truespace)!
But no stress please! I would rather do the D´kyr :o
