I always wanted to see who it was that the Colonial Marines were taking on with the Sulaco and her sister ships, since they had apparently encountered alien beings before and combat drops were no big deal for the veterans among them.

There is a reference to a "bug hunt" in one scene. No doubt an homage to Starship Troopers.
