The only thing I disliked about the design was the ugly turret on the bottom. It totally ruins the otherwise sleek lines this baby has.

Same here. There's a great model of the "later" BoP, but this would go so well with Enterprise

There are no inconsistencies in any given fictional universe. There are different political points of view, counter-information, disinformation and plain dissimulation. So, what you think that is an inconsistence is really someone pulling out his version of the story.

The only exception are bad shows.

Do you know if there is any way to get legally the 3D "Drexler Files?

Even if you could, I imagine they would be a good deal too complex to make feasible card models. I think the best way would still be constructing a simple 3D model and extracting it to Pepakura.

I imagine so. I tried to D/L Google 3D free models, but they were far to complex for our needs. :(

Do you use Metasequoia for 3D modelling or another software? Zathros says that Rhino 3D is more powerfull (but more complicated and costly), and I have read sometimes that Metasequoia, despite sufficient enough for begining, is rather limited. May I ask you what you think?

Thanks Paragon.

I've never used a 3D program, actually, I mainly use Photoshop. I'm sure Rhino is good, but I've seen plenty of people use free or inexpensive programs before. I think Rawen is using Sketchup for the large and very detailed Constitution Refit model he's doing, and it's turning out very well.

You mean you are only using a 2D soft to make your models? Even the WhiteStar ???

My hat off, Paragon. - I'm lacking an "applause" smiley -. If your studies - whatever they are - are of the same quality (I guess it's so), I am sure you will have a brillant future

As for Google Sketchup Pro (the full version, not only the viewer), it's not really "inexpensive": US$ 499!!

Sketchup 7 is free. It's not just a viewer.
