Rocket Ship Galileo
Currently working on a scratch built 'Rocket Ship Galileo'.
Heinlein's 1947 book was the first science fiction novel I ever read...back int he late 1950s. I tried to post a photo of the model test build, but was denied posting for some reason. |

I did plan to offer it up as a free download when I get a couple more bugs worked out. Next up for a test build is the venerable Space Patrol rocket cruiser; Terra V Mk1 . It is essentially done, just waiting for the first build. |

I read most of Heinlein's books back in the 80's when I was stationed in Hawaii. A Co-worker had his entire collection and loaned then to me one at a time.
Just don't actually remember all the books and details, just the basic ideas! But I do remember in one of the collections of future history shorts, there was a story that talked about the bombing of Pearl Harbour, but the publish date in the front of the book said it was written in 1939? Pretty sure that was a typo (-= |

As I recall the first Heinlein book I read was Stranger In A Strange Land many decades ago. Still an interesting read.
