WH40K Steam Tank

I just finished my 3rd Warhammer tank and thought I'd share a few photos. This one was designed by Iskander Gaffurov, and springs from his own imagination. It isn't an "official" tank from the Warhammer Universe. It's a fantasy vehicle, within a fantasy world. Fantasy squared.

I did a bit of Photoshop repainting on this one. Assembly wasn't complicated, but it was time consuming with all the layering that these models require. The tracks were a pain in the butt: each link is a separate piece that has been laminated to black cardstock, scored, and formed with a mountain fold and two valley folds. I've seen this model built by others who chose to leave the links flat. I'm a bit of a masochist I guess, but I do like the look of the shaped track links better so it was worth the extra time spent.

Enjoy the pics!

Many thanks, fellas. Miles, It was a pleasure to meet you at the USAHEC. This model came home with only one tiny visible water spot. I count myself lucky.

Thanks again for your comments, gents. Here's the link, Elliot https://new.vk.com/album-28784290_147338158 The original steam tank model is found in the rightmost column, 8 kits up from the bottom of the list.
