Six legs instead of four - it does make it look like two guys in a box with the four legs. Six legs keeps is more 'insect-like' as well.

Repetitive work in glueing those legs can be tedious, but I put together a couple of articulated hands that had three joints on each finger and two on each thumb.

Man, that looks awesome! I did one leg last night and it's not overly hard to get one made. I see I need to make a couple of modifications, so I'll try again tonight.

Yes, I agree. Sometimes I like funky. But this may be a little much. The four legged version would be similar to those Boston Dynamics dog robot. Like their original pack mule looking bot.

Those 'bugs' look a bit like Replicators from Stargate (which, in turn look like thay are made from metallic Lego).
