I just bought one of these NEW EX M&S SMALL MID BLUE DOME TOP PEDAL BIN | eBay to make into a Minion Waste bin, but they'll probably make a good basis for an R2-DB (Dust Bin). Be quick though. Numbers are limited 'cos it's an end of line item on sale.

Well I will be happy building it, but not for the next times.

Nice build Tino. I'm sure who ever it's for will love it.

How tall does this PR one turn out to be? Would it be waste paper bin sized?

Nice build so far, looks great. I'm pretty tempted to give this one a go once I'm finished my current model.

Nice work!

I was given two publisher printed Christmas R2s, which is a joke since I am neither a Star Wars fan, nor often a fan of the the most recent films. But we all know that there's no difference between Star Trek and Star Wars, right!!!

Your build, though, makes me think about building one of the two kits. Thanks for sharing as your work is insuring!

The size its about 18cm high.
For the second question. I dont know if I understand well but if its related with the paper size. I would say that in A4 or letter size there will be always some wasted paper. I dont know if this answers to your question?

THe DC - It seems to be a very nice model. If I were you I would try to build it.

I think he meant, if the size of the R2 model would be the same size as a paper bin The 18cm should answer that. If you print it out on A3 or A2 (or even A1 or A0) paper scaled up it should be big enough for all your paper trash!
