Well now that round 3 (the "Wings") of the BIG GS parts have been issued progress can now move forward again.

Here we have one wing's main structure assembled and taped to the body for size.

Oops!

Note to the test builders: If you haven't started on the blossom doors yet, the black circle thingy on the doors is suppose to be a hole! Just ignore the parts and chop it out if you want, here's a pic to show what I did wrong.
Thanks to MF for pointing out the mistake, I'll be correcting this for the release version.

Off topic, but did the Gunstar have inertial dampeners, or did the crew just hurl all over the inside of the cockpit after all the spinning?

Rofl ... I never thought of that. They would have death blossomed in their helmets at that speed.

I think they have acceleration dampers, but they are not so powerful that they remove all inertial forces, so you can still use a bit of pilot's intuition.

Hey Thunderchild, I've got half the most recent section completed. And have a page full of notes for ya. Just doin' mah part to make sure this is the ultimate Gunstar kit.

By the by, I *love* your solution to making the Death Blossom doors lockable in the closed position. It should make, uh, 'test-flying' my Gunstar much easier.
