Superb model!! Hard to believe it's card! Very nice build!
I grew up on Fireball XL5 and Supercar, about the only Anderson we got out here in the boonies until Space 1999. Always had a soft spot for the Anderson's shows, so I guess I'm a Fanderson too! Jack

Outstanding. I remember watching this great show as a lad. One holiday my brother got this for Christmas, and I played with as well. Was a wonderful large plastic version that the forward portion separated just like the one on TV did. I was glad too see this ole friend again.:DRick

Hi Guys, I have done a scratchbuild of Fireball, but in the unmentionable material, with all the talented designers here could somebody design a 2' long papermodel with Peter's amount of detail for download??
Just hoping Tom |

I know that if I had that model I'd run around the living room making all kinds of rockets sounds and making up all kinds of scenarios, I know what my wife would say too, I guess everyone knows that part

http://fabgearusa.com/Papermodels/fireball_XL5.pdf It's small and basic, but if you upscale her you might be able to give her some extra details and work a real canopy in too. The reason i didn't do it this way is because i wanted a PURE scratch build.. i was asked if i was going to make it available for download, but i never thought to keep any of the pre-build templates {really wish i had now} Hope this helps you and let me know how you get on with the project |

I was a fan of this show. I believe it must have been in the early or mid 1960's. So I could not help but get a good look at this marvelous piece of work. I can almost see Steve Zodiac sitting at the controls.
