TOS USS Enterprise NCC-1701

Since I've started building Star Trek models I've felt that I really ought to have a model of the one and only original USS Enterprise NCC-1701 (I want one too!), so I've decided that this is what I'll build next.

The model I've chosen for this is Ron Caudillo's excellent version (8 /9 pages of parts and 8 pages of instructions), available here http://jleslie48.com/gallery_models_scifi.html and I think that this particular model/subject deserves to be built in it's original scale of 1/720.

Photos to come as and when.

This is the result of today's work - one of the completed sub-assemblies, in this case the secondary hull rear section:-

This thing is gonna be huge!

I hate to say this, but your nacelles are on backwards. The grid's are to be on the inside. My best to you.
