Moonbase Alpha Idea

The Eagle Transporter diorama is great. Other then the Eagle, is there any chance you might offer a model of just thediorama? Also, has anyone ever thought of a paper model build of the Moon Base it’s self. I saw a plastic model of it once in a hobby store and the next time I had to pick up some supplies it was gone. I asked the owner if he was going to restock that model and he said no. It’s a extremely impressive model but in plastic, I don’t think so. wc

Great model! I always loved the vehicle and equipment designs in Space:1999.

I am Steele, i designed this original moon buggy. Back then working with pepakura and 3ds I wasnt able to get too exact. With the Super Eagle Paper craft That I helped with back then, I thought it went well together. I had mentioned Back then If anyone can Better the design, so much the better for all of us. If only we had 3.5" action figures to sit it them Share anything you think is better/updated. I am personally looking for a better landing gear for the original Eagle.

This was my baby. Back when it was made with 3ds and pepakura it was the best paper version available . I helped with the Super Eagle Paper Kit, and thought it would make a great addition to the Great eagle they invented. I mentioned then, If someone can make it better, so much greater for the paper model fans. I thought I had the scale right however, the show was not always exact. Id would be nice if it fit the 3" Apollo figures or others.

TechSteele, Thank you for the original design! For the scale I reference the Amphicat information I could find. I will try to organize my files and get them out, now that you have blessed it. Scaling shouldn't be too difficult, going from 1:18 to 1:24.

Felicitaciones por ese modelo, nunca lo había visto, pero se ve genial junto a la nave Aguila y el diorama.

Congratulations on that model, I had never seen it, but it looks great next to the ship Aguila and the diorama.
