Millennium Falcon - with time lapse video

I decided to take a brief break from the USS San Francisco and made a 8-9in long Millennium Falcon from a long time ago in a galaxy far far away.

You can find the model over here: SF PaperCraftGallery

The gallery I made is here: Album: millennium falcon

This is the second time I've made this model and it always seems to go together well. I scratch built the guns, as I never really liked those in the kit. I start with toothpicks put into the chuck of my dremel and used some jewler's files to carve/cut some detail into them. It was.... an acceptable learning experience.

Great work! I couldn't get the video to work though. I've built this one too, it's an excellent kit.

Wow. I'm assuming that since I am old and slow with bad eyes, I should count on spending more than double the 3:04 of the video to build this ... LOL

Very nice, and the video is a very nice touch

I've got that same model printed with blue markings (from the same designer). Have yet to build it though. Might have to dig it up now.

Would there be anyway of slowing down the video so I can follow. I tried my hand at this same model and it was beyond me. I had promised the video to my son's girl friend. I really hate it when I don't come through. Thank you for any help.wc

That is the purpose of a time lapse video, to show something that takes a long time in a short time span, someone would need to create a video for each of the major sub assemblies for you to follow along.

WC, start the playback and mouse over the video then click on the gear symbol at the bottom of the video window. You can adjust the speed of the playback there. Looks like the slowest is 1/4 normal speed.
