Hey, Chris, I think there are all the tabs you need ro roll the cylindres.
To glue the cylindrs together, you can reinforce the white circles with cardboard 1mm, glue they on the inner white circles of the colored circles. And then you can glue the cylindres and the box there on it....
I hope it is understandable..

Thanks for clearing this up Michael. So you are glueing onto the 1mm ledge.

I just added the old boring little glue tabs to my cylinders :-)

Here is the first textured version without the small details. I wanted to see if it looks OK this way. I also saw that I messed up some minor things which I will need to fix :-)

And there with all the details added.

I think I should be able to finish this next week. Make the corrections and then start the building instructions file.

In my humble opinion, I think is it as good if not better then the first one and with the instructions(which can never hurt a build)it will make my day for sure. Thank you for all your help and hard work. Thank you for listening to my also. This is deeply appreciated. wc

A first look at the weathered version. I did not finish the new build today but I think the added dirt and stains make it really come alive.

One can almost feel the heat and the dusty winds on Tatooine

I agree with Michael, it does make it look like a item that has seen better times due to being used and being outside. I love them both. I'm just hoping after all your hard work making this model possible I will be able to build it. I have great doubts any more on my paper building abilities any more but like I said I haven't giving up yet and won't. Love your work. wc

Thank you guys :-)

Michael, coming from you this means alot!

John, you will have the option of skipping the little details, but I think if I can do it you can too :-) Still I think it also looks great without the crazy small detailing if you choose to go this route.

I tried to log onto the German site where the build is and it said my e-mail address was already in use so I tried my G-Mail account and did the password thing but after checking the box for English there still was a lot of German. I can't read German. Oh well. wc
