Colonial Viper from Uhu02

Hi folks,

as a matter of fact I used to start the build of the Colonial Viper from Uhu02. I am posting this because I soon will continue the build. Originally started for a competition I stopped the build because of a mivement to a new home and then cracking the timeline for the competition.
As I will continue the build soon I post some pictures of the building progress and the actual state of the mode without many comments...
As you can see I started the project when I was in the middle of the Kfir build which is finished now.
May some of you enjoy the pics

Very nice work, Chris. There is a lot of detail on that model.

I built that a while back but I upscaled it to about 1/25th scale. At that size, it allowed me to make a bunch of added items as well as a hangar diorama. The hardest part I found was the nose fit. Have fun and waiting to see how your work comes out.

The detail of this model is just un-freakin-believable. And your build looks great. Clean assembly so far.

Good luck with the rest!

What's the easiest way to download the model? Does it come with the launching ramp? Do you use the Google transalate app? Sorry for the questions but I'm new to downloading Japanese models.

The only way to download it is via Uhus Website. If you still get it. The models are usually available for 3 or 4 Weeks before they go to the closed library.
I use Google Translate from japanese to english (japanese to german is awfully bad :D)
No launching ramp. Only the Viper itself.

I just fiddled aroung with the engines a bit.
The front part is almost ready (besides the (exhaust?)tubes and the piping)
The rear parts are cut and have colored edges. Next step will be the tubes and piping and assembling the rear parts.
A small update but hey: At least I am working on it :D

Thanks for the update. I had problems cutting those thin strips for the piping and wiring so I opted for electrical wires and paper clips. bent them to shape and place them on their respective spaces. Have fun and waiting to see more from you.
