Warhammer 40K dreadnaught

After a long sabbatical, I am back with another build thread. The comments are in the photos so enjoy the sequence trip. I did use a Games workshop model for reference and did make some adjustment to Eli's model. It is the approximate same size as the Games Workshop model, and it is sturdy enough to handle a table top game.

As I tell my former soldiers, Better to be judged by twelve than carried by six.

Thanks to you for making it possible with those wonderful downloads.

And now to continue with the build. There are about 71 photos, so you can see at this stage, that there are a few more photos to upload. Enjoy, more to come.

Thanks for your comment. I like to do the step by step for those who want to build and embellish their 40K models. The instructions are limited in scope on Eli's sketches so I make a build thread to help out.

Here is the next batch of photos for the enjoyment of the members. See you all soon with more updates. I did not properly measured the connecting tube to the lower section and had to trim it off. Do not use a knife for this if this should happen to your build. You may crush the cylinder. I used a cut off wheel on my dremel for this.
