I wasn't familiar with any of them, so I looked up pictures of them all. The Thunderbolt is sexy, but reminiscent of a Star Wars X-wing -- not that that's a bad thing. The Romulan Talon has striking lines and doesn't look like every other sci-fi ship, a plus in my book. My vote goes to either one of those two, with a little greater preference for the Talon.

The Thunderbolt is a development of the Starfury with atmospheric capabilities and a long nose with tandem cockpits. The original Starfury is a much more distinctive craft, with a stubby standing cockpit and thrusters at the "wing" ends.
As rickstef mentioned, B5 builds are sadly underrepresented. Some impressive PDO files have been released by Russian modelers, but I never saw a build.

I will give this thread a few days to see where it goes. But I have a feeling I know which one will come out on top... We need to drop the Talon off the list I got the building bug and decided that it was only a 5 page model I was going to go ahead and build it. The rest of them weigh in at around 20 pages plus except for the YT-1300 which is 9 pages. I will post pics of the Talon soon.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you find a model of the thunderbolt? I would like to build one at some point soon.

from what i know there are 2 thunderbolt models out there. one is on ecardmodels for $13.00. the second is a free model done by a Russian modeler but the downloads are gone for it. it is going to require a bit of free construction to build, as i believe it was originally a ripped game model converted to paper and there are some parts missing.
