Thumbs down Fireball xl-5

Has there been in the past a decent card model of this SF vehicle ? I am thinking of a detailed exterior and interior with the launching ramp as seen in the show ? LOL maybe I am just dreaming but it would be fun......

I know of someone who might, he did the rocky jones large version of the rocket. interior and extremely awesome detailing. the thread is in here somewhere, under rocky jones I think. he has a friend that chewed me out for my lame version of it. and he contacted the guy, who then made it and showed it here for download. I will go search and if I can find the thread I will post a link here.

Didn't (the mighty) Airdave do an XL5 model ? - exterior only. I'm sure I have it somewhere in my files.

I just did an enlarged version of Peter Fontaine's model.
I cleaned up the artwork a bit too, mainly because of the resolution change.

Fontaine's is probably the best one out there...the only one out there?
Unless Gary Pilsworth did one and my brain has gone on a vacation to forget-forget land?
(its right left of never-never land)

Gary did the jetBike, thats right!
...if only we had a Robbie model!

I don't know why I never did a model myself
...since Fireball XL5 and Supercar were what started it all for me.
One with Launch track would be so cool!
Alas, I have no room to display a model of that complexity
and way too many projects on the go now.

I know Peter Taft did some nice modifications to his Fontaine model.
or was it a complete scratch build model? I forget.
I think he built a launch track too?

paper model fbxl5

I loved this show when I was a toddler. unfortunately, I was just too young to remember anything about it. I have the paper model. here is a pic of the wooden scratchbuild. I will post the paper model if an admin tells me its ok to do. I don't want to be a pirate or violate someones sabbatical or whatever is going on.
