Rebuilding my BRTC25 Thunder Fighter collection (with a new component)

As many of you many know, when I moved back to the US, I had to leave all of my paper models in Easter Europe (unfortunately, they were all destroyed shortly after I left). With that being said, I am rebuilding everything!!!
So as the title of this thread says, I am rebuilding my BRTC25 Thunder Fighter collection (With a new component).
I am starting with the "Stealth" MK-III Thunder Fighter.

I raised some of the panels of the engine nacelles.


I worked on the back end in the bottom section.

I laminated the formers to (about) 2mm.


I attached the formers.


The back section is attached.


I raised a few of the panels.


Next, I will be working on the cockpit.

I am now working on the cockpit interior. I have started with both the tub and seats (yes, this is a two (2) seater).

Here is the tub.


Here are the seats. As you can see, I have greebled the buckles and belt slides.


The seats are in place.

Here are the side control panels. As you can see, I have raised the panels and buttons.


Here is the front lower console/joystick mount and Joystick.

I recessed the screen in the console.


The console is in place.


I used the "Pilot" Joystick.

I recessed the screens and raised the button panels.


I put the console in place.

Here is the wing skin and louvers. As you can see, I detailed the louvers.


I attached the louvers.


Wing skin assembled.


The wing insert is in place.


The wings are attached.


Both body halves are (now) attached.


As mentioned in the first post, I mentioned a "new component".
This is the parts sheet for the "weapon's vents" section. As you can see, I have added "actual" (angled) vents like the actual fighter has. These new components (hopefully) will bring this (and the other TF builds) that much closer to being "screen accurate.


The new vents will replace parts 179, 180, 183, & 184.


The components are formed and assembled.


The Vent sections are put into place.

Needless to say, I will be adding these to the rest of the TFs that I will build in the future.

I started working on the top part of the fuselage.

I attached the cockpit and intake system behind the cockpit.


As you can see, I louvered the vents and raised some of the printed details.


Now it is time to finish the cockpit and the front console.

I attached the side gauges.


Here is the front console. As you can see, I recessed the screens and some of the dial meters.


I put the front console in place.


I attached the top and bottom parts of the fuselage.


Next will be the front Sponsons and (inside and outside) canards.

Here are the front sponsons. I raised the detail around the laser emitters.


Here are the inner and outer canards.

Starting with the inner canards.


Inner canards are attached.


I attached the skins for such.


The outer canards


The canards are attached.


Next will be the rear engine section.

I didn't even know a stealth version existed. (But isn't that the point behind "stealth?")

Actually, this is a (strictly) fan based design that I (with the help of Revell-Fan) came up with.
