Looking forward to seeing this; I was always surprised that they didn't get more mileage out of Excelsior after making a ship that rivaled the Enterprise in "cool" factor and has that shiny new and cool look. Especially with Sulu in command.

I would like to see movies on the net of the Stargazer type, Excelsior, Reliant and calypso, I mean Grissom class. [can you imagine calling a grissom the Calypso and having it be a pure science lesson webispodes? educational and yet star trek entertainment?
I had a lunar models huge Excelsior that I modified for lighting back in 1989? it was really cool. I suggest some real multi-supports, perhaps two or three on the bottom of the sec hull tho, maybe counter weights in the nacelles also. Batteries work good for that. I guess you can tell that im excited about this project!!! Go Go Wulf111 !!!

I'd like to see the progress Wulf is making on the house extension he's building to house the finished model....oh, and whatever he's managed to do on the model itself, of course...

I wonder; given how big this will be, will foamier be needed for frame and skeleton?

What do you think from you progress so far?
