More Aliens stuff........

Would anyone be interested in a 1/1 scale M53 Smart Gun from Alien 3? I found one in the Sketchup warehouse. But I cannot find any way to contact the original designer. There's no way to contact him through the warehouse. I am unfolding it at this point but won't post it when finished without his permission. Am I just spitting in the wind on this one?

Have you got an image? Alien 3? I'm drawing a blank on this one. Wasn't that the movie in the series where they had no weapons on that prison planet?

I love the pulse rifle from the second movie. I'm interested if you can put up an image to wet my immagination.

It pretty much has to be the M-56 from "Aliens."

M-56 Smart Gun by HustlerJohn - Google 3D Warehouse

The details on the page include "Aliens <3" which isn't quite the same as "Alien 3" :-)

OK gotcha. That's the one they fired from the hip. A real monster killer!

Love it! I never knew what it was called. Just remember them strapping that thing to the waist and letting go with fully auto mayhem.

Yep that's the one! Thanks all ror the corrections. I meant to put Aliens but I pulled a bonehead there. Still in the pocess of breaking it down into components similar to Jan Rukr's M-41.

Any thoughts on using this model as a free release with full credit to the author without his permission? I don't feel real comfortable with that. But my design skills are nowhere near on par with that model.

Here is a pic of my M-41 build from a year ago. Please ignore the crummy paint job, I ran out of ink while building it. Resorted to my plastic box for some acrylic paint.

A smart gun!.. Kewl.

Max points for considering due credit itla9000311. I'm in the same boat, and Yep it doesn't taste so good, but I've had to do it a few times, their either M.I.A or just disinterested. Considering how much 3D work gets ripped and rebirthed, I'd say a majority of 3D artists would be satisfied with due credit, even if they do happen to discover it Ex Post Facto.

Don't forget the 'ADIOS' on the side lol :p
