Star Wars Snowspeeder

Good Morning to All

As usually with me there's a few models that aren't finished.
Some time I even did really finish something.
Currently I'm in the middle of a Tiger for a fellow thats retiring.
But I got carried away and run into so many details that I just got bored myself nearly half to death with it.
So to find once again the joy in modelling when You start and finish a thing I go for something both far easier and funnier subject.

So as You'll see on the pictures the thread title might be a misleading one but still it is a Snowspeeder.
But a paper Lego version of an original set.
This would be my fifth Lego paper set so far.
With this one I have only four new parts to design.
For previous sets I use the Luke Skywalker figure designed by:
kickme.to which could be found on
https://ninjatoes.wordpress.com/category/lego/
Of course this one is about 29 cm tall and I scaled it down to original minifig size.
But it is the first time I did the Star Wars Pilot helmet.
Well in this scale it is not easy but still I saw smaller stuff on this site.
Then I move to second most boring thing.
Parts of the cannons that is.
Finally the easy bit - fusealage main part

I am very impressed that you did one of those Lego guys at that scale. Wonderful

That looks adorable! Will you release the figure once it is finished?

The figure (not mine) is at https://ninjatoes.wordpress.com/category/lego/

Now for another part that I didn't have earlier, the Technic gear rack.
But it wasn't that difficult to replicate in paper.
The rest was pretty straightforward.

Just the idea to build a paper model from a lego model of a star wars model is so hilarious. Pure creativity! Love it!!!

And the rendition is awesome. I can almost picture a move made with these kind of props. Would have a very nice visual appeal.

Thank You that You like it.
That's the whole idea of paper lego for me - to have some pure fun of modelling. For first it didn't take as long to finish as standard paper models.
So even such a lazy person as me would start it and finish in no time.
Last thing to do was the stand - not included in the original set.
And that's it in just about 26 hours and it's done.
