Enterprise build NCC-1701
this is the 3rd time starting this thing, you can see a previous attempt in the back ground. i have up-scaled it a little bit from 1/400 to 1/320 scale just to make it easier for me to build.
i was able to find a large sheet of corrugated that was 3mm so all the rings are one piece everything fit together nicely so far. i am also doing all the interior parts next and adding lights so they can be seen through the windows.

I will be watching this build. Started the 1/400 TOS Enterprise, but I have not started a build thread yet. Good Luck with your build!

Dang, man, this baby is going to be a big one. That framing actually looks nice in and of itself.
For studio model trivia this is a book worth reading Book is authored by daughter of fellow who built the 3ft model and was in charge of the 11 footer. Lots of quotes from him in there. Among them being that the saucer was a bit out of round. Also speaks about the model's internal framing.
